Cedar Rapids is the hometown of Dr. Kristin Harts, but since 2003 she has called Des Moines home.

• Dr. Harts completed her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology at Iowa State University.
• She later earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa.
• She earned her fellowship in rheumatology from the University of Missouri.
• Dr. Harts is board certified in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the Rheumatology Association of Iowa.
• Dr. Harts is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Internal Medicine residency program and adjunct faculty member with the Mercy Residency program.

In her spare time, Dr. Harts enjoys researching automotives and historical aircraft.
