Dr. Matthew Samec grew up in New Hampton, Iowa and has interest in rheumatology, ultrasound, and medical education.

• Dr. Samec earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Northern Iowa and his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine.

• He completed his internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship through the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

• He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.

• He is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist through ISCD.

When Dr. Samec is not practicing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, attending sporting events, and participating in outdoor activities.
